Terms of Use

These terms explain use of the Lingito app and paid access. Purchases take place through the App Store or Google Play.

1. Provider

Lingito is provided by Pavel Kopecký, business ID 71272739, Vokrojova 3342/3, 143 00 Prague 4, Czech Republic. Support and complaints: team@albisoft.cz.

2. App use and licence

Lingito provides vocabulary practice. For Android, we grant a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app on your compatible devices under these terms and Google Play rules. You must not redistribute the app or its content without authorisation; permissions granted by law remain unaffected. Apps obtained through the App Store are licensed under Apple’s standard EULA, linked below. These terms describe the Lingito service and purchases; they do not replace Apple’s standard EULA. Applicable store terms and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

3. Free levels and Full access

Initial levels are free, without a time-limited trial. Full access unlocks further learning content; normal progression and game-token rules still apply. Updating from an older version preserves progress and the allocated free-level limit. Full access is not a cloud backup or progress-synchronisation service.

4. Prices, subscriptions and automatic renewal

The app shows available plans and their total prices, including applicable taxes, and the store shows them before confirmation. Monthly subscriptions are charged for one month; six-month subscriptions are charged for the full six-month period. Any monthly equivalent is for comparison only. Subscriptions renew automatically and the store charges for subsequent periods until you cancel renewal under its rules. Apple requires cancellation at least 24 hours before the period ends; on Google Play, cancel before the next renewal. The store handles price and plan changes and any required consent. Prices for future periods may change to reflect applicable taxes, the costs of providing and maintaining the service, or the scope of supplied content. A change does not alter an already paid period; the store will notify you of the new terms and obtain consent where required before they apply.

5. Management and cancellation

Manage your subscription using “Manage subscription” in the app or your App Store or Google Play account settings. After ordinary cancellation of renewal, access continues until the paid period ends. Uninstalling the app or resetting progress does not cancel the subscription. Cancelling renewal is different from requesting a refund. When paid access ends, local progress remains saved, but further paid content is locked.

6. Lifetime access

Lifetime access, where available in your store, is a one-time purchase of Full access without automatic renewal or a preset expiry date. Buying it does not cancel an existing subscription; you need to cancel renewal in the relevant store. Remedies for defects or discontinuation of the service are governed by applicable law.

7. Restoring purchases and technical requirements

You can restore valid purchases without another payment using “Restore purchase” with the relevant store account. A purchase on one platform does not automatically grant access on the other. Family Sharing depends on support by the store, product and account. Current device and operating-system requirements appear in the app’s store listing. Language-pack downloads, purchases, restoration and access checks may require an internet connection. A completed payment awaiting verification or a pending approval is not a reason to buy again; use restoration or contact support.

8. Purchases by minors

Paid access or a subscription may be purchased by a person with legal capacity to enter into that transaction. If a minor needs a parent’s or legal guardian’s consent, they must obtain it before purchase. For subscriptions, that consent must also cover automatic renewal and recurring payments.

9. Consumer rights, withdrawal and complaints

Purchases take place through the App Store or Google Play and are also governed by the relevant store terms. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected. The store identifies the seller and provides the purchase record for your country. In the EEA, distance contracts generally carry a 14-day right of withdrawal; statutory exceptions can apply to digital content after express consent to performance beginning and acknowledgement that this right will be lost. These terms do not themselves provide that consent. Submit refund or withdrawal requests to the relevant seller through the store; you may also contact us. Statutory remedies for non-conforming digital content or services, including bringing them into conformity, price reduction or termination where applicable, are not limited. Report technical problems or app complaints to team@albisoft.cz.

10. Disputes and changes

If a dispute with the provider cannot be resolved directly, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority offers out-of-court resolution for eligible consumer disputes; see the link below. This does not limit access to courts or other mandatory rights in your country. Changes to these terms will be published with a new date; they do not remove accrued rights or replace any required notice or consent. Data processing is explained in the Privacy Policy.
