What personal data we collect and why

Lingito, provided through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store:

• does not collect sensitive data or personal information that could identify users;
• does not require an account, login, name, email address, or phone number;
• keeps learning data on the user's device.

App stores

The Apple App Store and Google Play Store may provide aggregated anonymous information such as device country, languages, device names, operating system versions, and app versions.

Firebase Crashlytics

Lingito may use Firebase Crashlytics for anonymous crash reporting. Crash data is used to find and fix technical problems, and is stored and processed through Firebase.

Firebase Analytics

Lingito uses Firebase Analytics to understand, in an anonymous way, how people use the app and where we can improve it.

• Lingito does not use Firebase Analytics for advertising or ad personalisation.
• Lingito does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, or other directly identifying information to Firebase Analytics.
• Analytics events may include anonymous app activity, such as completed exercises or learning progress.

Data deletion policy

• User data is not collected by Lingito.
• Anonymous Firebase Crashlytics data is deleted in accordance with Google's policy after 90 days.
• Anonymous Firebase Analytics data is handled according to Google and Firebase retention settings and policies.
